Armies of Oerth, Part XIV: Ratik

Using the Field of Glory wargaming rules & Dragon Magazine #57, here is another representation of Gary Gygax's Orders of Battle for certain renowned armies from the World of Greyhawk.

Ratio: 250 men-at-arms per base.

Ratik's Army List

Commander-in-Chief:

Medium Cavalry: 500 = 2 bases
(3 models/bases; riders on horses, helm & chest armour, moderate shields, hand weapons)

Armoured Infantry: 2,225 = 9 bases
(3 models/base; foot troops, helm & chest armour, moderate shields, hand weapons)

Medium Infantry (Borderers): 4,500 = 18 bases
(3 models/base; foot troops, leather armour & moderate shields, hand weapons)

Light Infantry (Levid & Militia): 4,000 = 16 bases
(2 models/base; foot troops, no armour, small shields, hand weapons)

This totals 46 bases with 120 models on them.

Although being refused aid from the mountain dwarves in the region, sylvan elves & gnomes from the Loftwood are willing to send the following allied forces:

Armoured Infantry (Sylvan Elves): 600 = 3 bases
(3 models/base; foot troops, helm & chest armour, moderate shields, hand weapons)

Medium Infantry (Gnomes): 3,000 = 12 bases
(3 models/base; foot troops, leather armour & moderate shields, hand wepoans)

So, this adds another 15 bases with 45 models on them.
