Axe & Hammer's OD&D Post

A good historical post by GW is here and of all things includes an extrapolated cover (above) of my unpublished Supplement 5 for D&D, Kalibruhn.

Good, creative work, GW!

  1. I am glad you like it, Rob.

I really thank Andrew Taylor who did the great artwork for the Three Castle Award design. It was perfect. Thanks, ATOM!

  2. What a boon to the gaming community it would be, if this were formatted like the TLBBs and released for sale! Wow.

  3. Yeah. I should make a clarification here upon the amount of material possible. As I had been crafting the World from the top down it even at early stages was becoming weighted with matter. The "new class of MU" as referred to from the auction notes actually was comprised of a "Clan Mage" and seven of the many present (from the campaign area I'd constructed) were detailed. Each had new spells per level based on what each clan had specialized in. So the addenda spell list was very large. The magic items, same, etc.

I assume that it would have gone beyond 100 pages printed and probably because of that could not have been saddle-stitched like the other LBBs.
