OOOH! Looky Here...

Here's a quick link and FAQ page.  Looks impressive!

Now, if we could only get someone to do "Werelords of East Bronx," we'd really have something!  ;)

I am not a wargamer but I would buy the hell out of a game called "Werelords of the East Bronx."

It was the map dimensions and the pic of the back cover art that had me drooling.

WOW, I love the props! Its like Shogun (Samurai Sword), but in Medieval Europe and a better range of dice. I have always been a sucker for games the use plastic coins as resource points. Too bad the game cost an arm and a lag! (I hope they sell the parts separately?)

For those interested, here's the BoardGameGeek link for this game - quite a lot of reading...

@ Mark Argent: Hmm maybe I'm onto something with that... I did in fact sit back and imagine a game of that sort. Loving to draw maps and design, maybe I'll give it a whirl for my next con play-test. I'll keep everyone posted.

@Malcadon: I downloaded the pdf rules and sample play and took a closer look at it. Really nice. Over 500 plastic pieces, so I for one do not feel that the price is extraordinary. Depends on how much play value one gets out of it in the long run, I suppose.

@Scottz: Thanks for the BGG link. I did do some scant reading there. It's nice to follow folks commenting in depth on it and I will be following those and other posts as they arise. I am more tempted to acquire the game after reading those posts. Sounds like a sure winner.
